I have to admit, the whole textured polish thing bores me a little now, I want to see something different. That being said, I can't resist a good glitter, so when I saw the Rimmel Space Dust range, I had to give one a try. Total Eclipse is completely different from any polish I own with a black base containing green glitter which when looked at from a different direction changes to purple.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuBq56x8qj8c5WLoKWJNNixTD5lRO6YIG8HlCJPNS1nLGmi-U0T0CcSx3OwTAXnqaPvhug-z7x5Umn2u_C9KlbPZ67YCiIrnqoqqPR-c5v6UNcwGshm8yWoxSHLvqSC72OXZJ3FNxQA_6V/s1600/Rimmel+Total+Eclipse.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="378" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuBq56x8qj8c5WLoKWJNNixTD5lRO6YIG8HlCJPNS1nLGmi-U0T0CcSx3OwTAXnqaPvhug-z7x5Umn2u_C9KlbPZ67YCiIrnqoqqPR-c5v6UNcwGshm8yWoxSHLvqSC72OXZJ3FNxQA_6V/s640/Rimmel+Total+Eclipse.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This colour is gorgeous and only has a slight texture so doesn't feel too gritty. I used two coats here and wore it for three days with minimal chipping. I am not too keen on the rest of the range, but Total Eclipse is really unique and worth a try even if like me, you are a bit sick of textured nails.</div>

I have never been a lover of matte polishes but I do like to try something different every now and again and Crush seemed like a perfect colour for Autumn. I had also spotted the new limited edition polishes in Superdrug but didn't get one as they looked too similar to polishes I already had. The limited edition ones in Boots though are much more Christmassy, this one called Tinsel Town on the Boots website, is similar to the Confetti polishes and has red, green and blue glitter strips, perfect for Christmas.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although very red in the bottle, crush dries into a much browner shade. I do like the colour but found it chipped on the ends of my nails within a couple of hours, something I always have a problem with when not using a top coat. I'm not keen on the mix of matter and glitter here but I do like the look of Tinsel Town over this kind of shade. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you pick one polish for a Christmassy manicure this year, I think it has to be Tinsel Town, it really does remind me of tinsel and got me a little excited for Christmas. Its going to be our first Christmas in the new flat and I can't wait for us to get our own tree and decorate the flat. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Are you feeling Christmassy yet? Have you tried any of the new Barry M polishes, yet again they don't disappoint! I hope the new Matte range doesn't mean they stop making new Gelly polishes though!</div>

Overall I am not a huge fan, but they do have a number of products that I love, and one thing I can't recommend enough is the foundation matching service. I have tried this myself as well as doing it for customers and I have to say it really does work. I was matched up as Cool Beige over a year ago and am still using the Essentially Natural foundation in that shade. When the money off vouchers came around this time though, I decided to pick up the matching concealer. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCIPa4PWzhR7tvqx8Hec-XwE42HWD_Q8UxDRFzkVNyXdlzHDsd4NlW3Uc4CoZPiKC8FroZK9KLpwkMIKT88TZvB3zM8zc4Sa_mZI5-9p1naCoarxrY9ngPY-gMb8VDQ3yzKVF2J6_0MnIN/s1600/No7+Concealer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCIPa4PWzhR7tvqx8Hec-XwE42HWD_Q8UxDRFzkVNyXdlzHDsd4NlW3Uc4CoZPiKC8FroZK9KLpwkMIKT88TZvB3zM8zc4Sa_mZI5-9p1naCoarxrY9ngPY-gMb8VDQ3yzKVF2J6_0MnIN/s400/No7+Concealer.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I have awful dark circles around my eyes and have never managed to find a concealer which completely covers them. I have to say though, this one does a pretty good job! I love the idea of matching your concealer shade to your foundation, as you can see below, the concealer is almost a perfect match for my Essentially Natural foundation in the same shade- Cool Beige. The concealers are available in all the same shades as the foundations, so you can have a perfect match whatever your skin tone.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoC1RNxTg-srIJYm0wLrXXr_Y_CZk23Qp3dAmdbEDh0268whF30ZEuRKel-g2WleOdeyfO5eQytqOle89q9OfI-TQ_RqPMOgNFDgdoUTgaHO-y6niv0qClTu2hsKogTL0-XoP0GDUy7qsx/s1600/No7+Match.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoC1RNxTg-srIJYm0wLrXXr_Y_CZk23Qp3dAmdbEDh0268whF30ZEuRKel-g2WleOdeyfO5eQytqOle89q9OfI-TQ_RqPMOgNFDgdoUTgaHO-y6niv0qClTu2hsKogTL0-XoP0GDUy7qsx/s320/No7+Match.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been really impressed with this concealer, it covers my dark circles as well as my Collection Lasting Perfection, but matches my skin tone better. It lasts all day without creasing too. At £7.50 it is a little pricey as with the rest of the No7 range but the £3 off vouchers come round often enough and £4.50 is a bargain for the quality. For anyone who hasn't been colour matched on No7 it really is worth a try!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Have you tried the No7 foundation matching service or the concealers? I'm really loving this combination at the moment.</div>

I love the smell of the place and how friendly the staff are. I've been seeing the Christmas range all over blogs for a while now, so while I was out shopping I had to stop in and pick up some Snow Fairy. I love Snow Fairy and I'm always a little gutted when they take it away after Christmas, so each year I buy some as a pre-Christmas treat. It didn't end there though, as one of the girls started talking to me and showing me the rest of the new Christmas range and I couldn't help myself, I ended up with a mini haul. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRf6a8TL0DvpmrpY8z95ZGLRJmcFekbh9xxdbd5G5TGahle0G-A_65uKznRVDidKNbAdxxsGpFcagmAplq_TxGY1WXd1eGObjkoQ6rM6vxwqO44Vpbzkcpu0WDI-_GaGcsQnMuNHc65M52/s1600/Lush+Christmas.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="492" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRf6a8TL0DvpmrpY8z95ZGLRJmcFekbh9xxdbd5G5TGahle0G-A_65uKznRVDidKNbAdxxsGpFcagmAplq_TxGY1WXd1eGObjkoQ6rM6vxwqO44Vpbzkcpu0WDI-_GaGcsQnMuNHc65M52/s640/Lush+Christmas.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I resisted picking up the giant bottle of Snow Fairy as I think over £10 is a little expensive for shower gel, so went for the medium bottle which is still pricey at £6.85 but it is worth it. I also chose Candy Mountain, one of the new Christmas Bubble Bars. I prefer these to the bath bombs as I love the bubbles and always think the scent goes further. It has tiny glitter particles inside and smells like bubblegum, lovely! On the right is Angels Delight soap which is designed to smell like jelly beans. It smells so sweet and very similar to Snow Fairy. I also picked up an Avobath Bath Bomb for my mum as her birthday is in a few days and she loves them, its become a bit of a tradition and I get her one each year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These have only been sitting in my bathroom for a couple of hours and just having them in the room has made it smell gorgeous, haven't even used anything yet! I'm really impressed with the new range and I'm so excited to use Snow Fairy again (sad I know!). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you had anything from Lush recently? I know their products are a little on the pricey side but I love them for a treat every now and again. </div>

I don't blame myself though, its the time of year when all the new autumn/winter polishes are released and who can resist the gorgeous glitter polishes that appear on the shelves. One collection I couldn't resist trying out was the Models Own Fireworks. I love Models Own and this collection is just perfect for autumn with 5 amazing new polishes with a mix of glitter shapes and colours. I picked up two, Catherine Wheel, a mix of gold and red and Roman Candle, my favourite, a mix of pink, gold and black. I had to try out Roman Candle first and layered it over Purple Ash, one of my favourite Models Own shades, and a perfect Autumn colour.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNiFWESWg8DAajVpFhVSSKJUUyFnBDIfA1H-Wk7E6DIQCpCExONkLzQTWLnGlEk6hAmbEeK8pS4PU8-AcRnNpOlw3K41puy2Dh-ENg3tRD7vnGfCXYudNQAwgFFHv8WwydMxsKQGvdR7pm/s1600/Fireworks.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNiFWESWg8DAajVpFhVSSKJUUyFnBDIfA1H-Wk7E6DIQCpCExONkLzQTWLnGlEk6hAmbEeK8pS4PU8-AcRnNpOlw3K41puy2Dh-ENg3tRD7vnGfCXYudNQAwgFFHv8WwydMxsKQGvdR7pm/s400/Fireworks.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although it looks very purple in the bottle, Purple Ash is much browner on the nail. I love this shade though and it works perfectly with the glitters in Roman Candle. This combination works really well and looks gorgeous, I can see myself getting plenty of use out of Roman Candle. The mix of different colour and shaped glitter makes it really stand out and does remind me of fireworks.</div>

I haven't posted in over a month, which wasn't entirely intentional but things were getting too much for me. I had just started a new full time job and was trying to juggle that with finishing my masters dissertation and still finding time to see my friends. Somewhere amongst that I also moved away from my parents house into a flat with my boyfriend. Something had to go, and for a while it had to be the blog.<br />
<div>
Things have settled down now though; my job is going well, my masters is done and I'm all settled in the flat. I also have a two week holiday from work, which gives me the perfect opportunity to show my blog some love. </div>
<div>
I thought I'd start with a little haul as I popped into Superdrug yesterday and spotted the new Barry M ranges on 3-for-2. I had to stop myself buying the lot, they all looked so pretty, but I resisted and only picked out a couple.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Jvga9eYQ-_lujO1zEc7TtCQH0qsjkTKp2l4-qnbeDLyd-L21cdRHBsRLT5-4YgydDTGMv8lRYue4vnNk0j3shb4cVQ5mthLg-sgaVfe_qHnew9B66huVtyr2_1uTV-20GfQrDswIedOM/s1600/Barry+M+Haul.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Jvga9eYQ-_lujO1zEc7TtCQH0qsjkTKp2l4-qnbeDLyd-L21cdRHBsRLT5-4YgydDTGMv8lRYue4vnNk0j3shb4cVQ5mthLg-sgaVfe_qHnew9B66huVtyr2_1uTV-20GfQrDswIedOM/s640/Barry+M+Haul.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I had been admiring the new palettes online and have never really given Barry M make up a chance, just sticking to their nail polish, so I'll be interested to see how good the eyeshadows and blush are. I chose the Natural Glow Palette as it seems a perfect all-in-one everyday shade range.<br />
Then I hit the new nail polishes...I went for two colours from the matte range, Caramel and Crush, as the swatches I had seen looked so lovely. I had also been admiring Countess from the textured range, I had to try this first and I love it! I also liked the look of the Crystal Glaze top coat and can't wait to try it over different colours. I picked up Berry Cosmo to make up my 3-for-2 offers as I hadn't seen it before and love a deep purple polish, this one will be perfect for Autumn!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC2QI37ePoSLjvPdzZ8cYELzJNcDRJVk7PVNpOEwXdXaNdZpXa4ByC_h-ZIrlEpSm-XTXoItMPQiO46Fk6vJK9SLSpiPjUtAV6lJEl6WjF7LB4EylHippxf5sti_4vFXhP9f0oDqgMAN90/s1600/Barry+M+Textured.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC2QI37ePoSLjvPdzZ8cYELzJNcDRJVk7PVNpOEwXdXaNdZpXa4ByC_h-ZIrlEpSm-XTXoItMPQiO46Fk6vJK9SLSpiPjUtAV6lJEl6WjF7LB4EylHippxf5sti_4vFXhP9f0oDqgMAN90/s400/Barry+M+Textured.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
How gorgeous is this colour? The picture doesn't do it justice, its such a lovely deep purple with gold and pink glitter and a slight texture. I had begun to find the textured polish trend a little boring, but this only has a slight texture which just makes the glitter stand out more. I'm not too bothered about trying the other colours in the range as I seem to have collected quite a few textured polishes, but this one is worth having!<br />
<br />
Have you tried any of the new Barry M ranges? I can't wait to try the others!<br />

Glossybox time of the month seems to come round so quickly. This is the second box of my three month subscription and next months will have to be my last as the boy and I have found a flat! We are hoping to move out next week if all gets sorted out so I won't be able to afford non-necessities like Glossybox as we try to make the flat into a home. I seriously can't wait! It does mean things may be a little quite around here for a few weeks though, whilst I get settled and try to finish my Masters dissertation!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is just going to be a quick post as I have seen soooo many reviews of this box already and they all seem pretty similar. This months theme is High Flyers, so beauty on the go I guess.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First up some £20 eye-lash curlers? Really? I love my £7.50 No7 ones and with a voucher that makes them £4.50. Can I see these being worth 4 times as much? Nope...they do the job but I wouldn't pay the price.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXyLDIgfMi7Q0SAEh7cliL1YXH-qZG1VVDNHFlIF5maVyVaX9SrSGyUvBysgxtbpsx4wGB_IJxS4S_iCRQ5MSnpt-rOy3pFD90uYjN-JqugIP-2YfL51Ypldorg5RX30jQk7bAsSq2GyMx/s1600/JPP+Shadow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="283" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXyLDIgfMi7Q0SAEh7cliL1YXH-qZG1VVDNHFlIF5maVyVaX9SrSGyUvBysgxtbpsx4wGB_IJxS4S_iCRQ5MSnpt-rOy3pFD90uYjN-JqugIP-2YfL51Ypldorg5RX30jQk7bAsSq2GyMx/s640/JPP+Shadow.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Secondly, and disappointingly the only real make-up product in the box, Jelly Pong Pong eyeliner and shadow crayon in black. Boring, plain, black. I love the other colours but this is just a fat eyeliner. Nothing special.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZ7HsKkKt6hii59ljvs-ayk2tmNeTP-GjFDeRXpzGL2GpM5stbr4GrUoL5KHNM-4IB7Z5fvMrFXOXepVzK3GS0rXvaVNb16xNn2-4W3GIqi5aYlNlObbK50-5BAmVA7d2_sNSHyEvBX0J/s1600/Treseme+keratin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZ7HsKkKt6hii59ljvs-ayk2tmNeTP-GjFDeRXpzGL2GpM5stbr4GrUoL5KHNM-4IB7Z5fvMrFXOXepVzK3GS0rXvaVNb16xNn2-4W3GIqi5aYlNlObbK50-5BAmVA7d2_sNSHyEvBX0J/s320/Treseme+keratin.jpg" width="245" /></a></div>
The TRESeme Keratin Smooth treatment is something I want to try. I love the split end treatment so I'm hoping this will help my heat damaged hair. Until it grows out a bit I am having to straighten it every day so I hope this will help do some good to my hair for a change.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj05MIS0EzoJE58ZyqEs1xTK-NJdik7FeSt9iis3cOYsV8m3LTawplmvqDM1IR3Yc1sY94A2qzq5N7Q3t8AmGd_S8z6LnYv3maHzJ9HgqjN_4-7nqoRiMlYwSVhXzaPamRPFzPdZ17MZrZD/s1600/Day+Cream.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj05MIS0EzoJE58ZyqEs1xTK-NJdik7FeSt9iis3cOYsV8m3LTawplmvqDM1IR3Yc1sY94A2qzq5N7Q3t8AmGd_S8z6LnYv3maHzJ9HgqjN_4-7nqoRiMlYwSVhXzaPamRPFzPdZ17MZrZD/s320/Day+Cream.jpg" width="253" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think about the last four or five boxes I have had contained moisturiser samples, so I wasn't too pleased to find another one and although it is nice, something a bit different would have been better. Plus on my beauty profile I stated I have dry not oily skin, well done Glossybox....I don't really want to use this in case it makes my dry skin worse.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRsXVghOnzIdSsTyTgUilUFCwqZFmz1Iofbo7RsWYexJgKg9O0VRFhOBecoLuk9lSzoZzAFyv635EkajiSgbjBng9xV2BFsfMnCNZ0AYiiBS9hEqYnyIGeePkU7gAaSiKw3FZye7aCqQHP/s1600/Makeup+Remover+Pen.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRsXVghOnzIdSsTyTgUilUFCwqZFmz1Iofbo7RsWYexJgKg9O0VRFhOBecoLuk9lSzoZzAFyv635EkajiSgbjBng9xV2BFsfMnCNZ0AYiiBS9hEqYnyIGeePkU7gAaSiKw3FZye7aCqQHP/s320/Makeup+Remover+Pen.jpg" width="245" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally, a make-up remover pen from some unknown brand, price unknown? Seems a little strange but I like the idea. It seems perfect for eyeliner or eyeshadow mistakes or just to neaten up a little. The fact that it has 3 spare tips is good, as I can't imagine using the same one for lipstick as around my eyes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All in all a pretty disappointing box this month. I have had a few boxes recently that I haven't been too keen on so unless next months is amazing, I won't miss them too much when I stop paying for them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Has anyone else had the same box? It isn't the worst ever but just a little boring, nothing really special or exciting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I always paint my nails whilst watching TV and this has led to accidents on more than one occasion, ending with polish on my laptop, nails, bed, carpet....I am quite clumsy. I have been looking for something to use as a stand for my polish so that whilst I am painting my nails I am less likely to knock the bottle over. After a little searching on ebay and a week waiting for postage from China, I may have found the perfect thing.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgig3fX4bP8Kiq8fkJ_HhGP6SqmpazhhIZfQocSuE7uG-1fVYC3SgJWFWkJ-SSlqTSYZZY8nzgtos1qnUK8oA1QvMLabpN4xTjyuXpPAkETHjJbHjXnE6smtrCuIQdiBdNJ75v0_S4juMqR/s1600/Polish+Holder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgig3fX4bP8Kiq8fkJ_HhGP6SqmpazhhIZfQocSuE7uG-1fVYC3SgJWFWkJ-SSlqTSYZZY8nzgtos1qnUK8oA1QvMLabpN4xTjyuXpPAkETHjJbHjXnE6smtrCuIQdiBdNJ75v0_S4juMqR/s640/Polish+Holder.jpg" width="497" /></a></div>
<div>
This little rubber polish holder is great! The base is wide enough to make it almost impossible to tip over and allows you to tip the bottle if the polish is getting low so you don't have to tip the holder. I can easily paint my nails without worrying about making a mess. I have tried it with a few different brands and it is quite flexible meaning that most bottles will fit, including wide bases like Revlon. A few brands don't quite fit or won't go in at all (I'm looking at you Sally Hansen and Ciate!), but the majority will fit so it isn't too much of an issue. </div>
<div>
My only complaint is the colour, it only seems to be available in pink, I would have preferred something different, but I am not going to complain for the price. There are lots of these on ebay but the ones I got came in a pack of two, perfect for when you don't want a simple one colour manicure. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My polish holder was from <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180842487402?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649">this seller</a> and a pack of two was £1.24, with shipping taking just over a week. I can't recommend this enough if you don't have a sturdy worktop, it really has made things easier for me.<br />

I never really understood why they were such a cult product in the US, I mean they are just lip balms, so I had to pick up a couple myself, just to see what the fuss was all about.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYQ7-dNjiYhnKVV0VYYS3qlBN4kZtXsALTKnuKyaSsfP4rZdGpqQxHssA7oLkVtO4p_7_mtz50fGpnoiWv4XTb6LjwwTuClYALMOHvPBJGe32e3fEONhlCloTsKNunE_U7br8kyZe6VCX0/s1600/Baby+Lips.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="496" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYQ7-dNjiYhnKVV0VYYS3qlBN4kZtXsALTKnuKyaSsfP4rZdGpqQxHssA7oLkVtO4p_7_mtz50fGpnoiWv4XTb6LjwwTuClYALMOHvPBJGe32e3fEONhlCloTsKNunE_U7br8kyZe6VCX0/s640/Baby+Lips.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
Cherry Me and Pink Punch, two of the most gorgeous, colourful lip balms I have ever owned! I am starting to see what the fuss is all about. These balms glide on like a soft gloss rather than a sticky, thick balm. They smell amazing and give a lovely tint to your lips. I have been loving Pink Punch, which reminds me of cocktails in summer and I'm not usually a fan of pale pink lips, but this is just pale enough to suit me. </div>
<div>
For £2.99 these are well worth your pennies and I can see myself ending up with all six! They leave your lips feeling really soft and as they are lip balms, you can forgive them for not lasting more than a couple of hours. Plus they smell so amazing you will want to reapply!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'm going to jump on the blogger bandwagon and say these are a must have! I can't wait to try some of the others.<br />

I just can't justify spending that much on something I will use a couple of times and most likely forget about or replace with something new and more interesting. I have been loving MUA over the last few months for their cheap as chips products which give you amazing value for money. I know they work under various different brand names but this post involves one of their brands which I had never seen before- Vivo. Vivo is stocked in Tesco, something lacking in my local city, which probably explains their absence in my life until now! They are currently holding a half price sale online so when I spotted them I had to give them a try.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJVg1dXSIyktsMqO_sskMgjBBenPzBMtziGaj5ppA1v8DPNyFbsTR08Sm8kM97v_MnqvchoEZd33k207jzMs_LrFGNv4HevApygWgDRNiCSeMyH5AaY1uwtxDciAgM7Ix3LdTqE8tbHTvE/s1600/Vivo+order.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJVg1dXSIyktsMqO_sskMgjBBenPzBMtziGaj5ppA1v8DPNyFbsTR08Sm8kM97v_MnqvchoEZd33k207jzMs_LrFGNv4HevApygWgDRNiCSeMyH5AaY1uwtxDciAgM7Ix3LdTqE8tbHTvE/s640/Vivo+order.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
This whole lovely haul cost me £14.88 including postage (£2.95) amazing yes? Nothing came to more than £2 and the nail polishes were about 50p, amazing bargain! The packaging isn't the best but I really like everything, the quality seems great for the price and the eye shadow palette will be getting a post of its own as it is amazing!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNjNR5R3LuP0akGUwvRJFIF-sZRHtYUV_srTc3A2ZocVyV0wIFT9M4Uefu0dpjAiA5p4I1ZTIJWHp6kLoHtxtBf_9nKmQPjKO2R1Gqszyfc_fXIOuSh8Q9oLdtR4gNOfy39BIcoTDzE_AU/s1600/Vivo+Lips.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="295" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNjNR5R3LuP0akGUwvRJFIF-sZRHtYUV_srTc3A2ZocVyV0wIFT9M4Uefu0dpjAiA5p4I1ZTIJWHp6kLoHtxtBf_9nKmQPjKO2R1Gqszyfc_fXIOuSh8Q9oLdtR4gNOfy39BIcoTDzE_AU/s400/Vivo+Lips.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love lip crayons so had to try some of these, the Colour Stay Lip Crayons in Sweet Dreams and Thing Called Love were £1.99 half price and the Laquer Shine Lip Gloss in Heavenly was 99p! The lip crayons look very similar to the MUA versions but with a better colour payoff. They also have the same minty scent. The Laquer Gloss is so pretty and a bargain for 99p, again it looks very similar to the MUA Intense Kisses. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKDAmBm4YVa07q9A2idWu37CeYiUKdy8Dsy_7Im5vX3w3vmIXqlq810czBGpd9eSYKhZktjSewaf-EexTYrtMyHcT07ygklV1kfnjU4ysfNKAx_uBZp1o2BYmoobzGwgVyAXBaAzgX0GM_/s1600/Vivo+Blush.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKDAmBm4YVa07q9A2idWu37CeYiUKdy8Dsy_7Im5vX3w3vmIXqlq810czBGpd9eSYKhZktjSewaf-EexTYrtMyHcT07ygklV1kfnjU4ysfNKAx_uBZp1o2BYmoobzGwgVyAXBaAzgX0GM_/s400/Vivo+Blush.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also picked up a Blush and Highlighter Duo in Sweet Peach for £1.19. I LOVE this, the blush is such a perfect peachy shade without being too orangey, and the highlighter is a perfect shimmery match for the peach but isn't too glittery. I really want another of these, I love the idea of a matching blush and highlighter and who can go wrong for that price!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimEE7lNFT7IcqVZNSKcn3Hoddx3n4_frww2zU4A9wu1_A2iqLbq_hSLiHPje9ul_jIZxJAVN5blFCKx6RSP04Ufye4vObIOGkWGtFM67sN4Lj0NUxKDRtdZEIT_kX7Fn-podDIzZOvttje/s1600/Radiance+Boost.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimEE7lNFT7IcqVZNSKcn3Hoddx3n4_frww2zU4A9wu1_A2iqLbq_hSLiHPje9ul_jIZxJAVN5blFCKx6RSP04Ufye4vObIOGkWGtFM67sN4Lj0NUxKDRtdZEIT_kX7Fn-podDIzZOvttje/s400/Radiance+Boost.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
I wanted to try the Radiance Boost Highlighter as it was only £1.79 and I hoped it might work to cover up my dark eye circles. I doesn't seem to give much coverage and is a little pink for my skin but I will give it a go.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivzs-brVW9P-FBfpJVR314ZS58NQ2Ww_hCH0rrHd9LfyubQ_LA_KlOLjTWMK7_DmlAEbmhCRMgsyp38iwF1CYrQ25G7ucUKEOiRmXka4K4hrVmugCUZxYnsrE8eqPNVH5PU-ecIIbgnUXa/s1600/Vivo+Polish.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivzs-brVW9P-FBfpJVR314ZS58NQ2Ww_hCH0rrHd9LfyubQ_LA_KlOLjTWMK7_DmlAEbmhCRMgsyp38iwF1CYrQ25G7ucUKEOiRmXka4K4hrVmugCUZxYnsrE8eqPNVH5PU-ecIIbgnUXa/s400/Vivo+Polish.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
These lovelies were only £1.49 for the Nail Flare in When I Dance and an amazing 50p for the varnish in Funfair. I love the glitter polish and can't wait to try it. Funfair is the perfect pinky coral for summer.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLArlJ_46WRM6j_LBCc_ktXecKWkx33cs6TiOhi2FTkoxYH3w_2jo0sGegg7Eqg6Uf2aa97nmJc7jBvJN8BFuB78F-AYqoyKVo9zUk4FRBEUpTZ68eRwy8OMeGguIRs9VOhKsQiIwoPUvv/s1600/Vivo+Palette.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLArlJ_46WRM6j_LBCc_ktXecKWkx33cs6TiOhi2FTkoxYH3w_2jo0sGegg7Eqg6Uf2aa97nmJc7jBvJN8BFuB78F-AYqoyKVo9zUk4FRBEUpTZ68eRwy8OMeGguIRs9VOhKsQiIwoPUvv/s400/Vivo+Palette.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
Finally, the best product in the bunch, the 12 Shade Colour Block Palette in Unprotected, supposedly a dupe for MUA Undressed and the Naked palette. I can see the similarity between this and the MUA and I will be posting swatches soon but the colour payoff is sooo much better than you get from the Undressed palette so I will compare them. I love the look of the palette and prefer it to my MUA ones. I just think it looks more expensive and is a better shape to store. This was only £1.99 but even at the regular £3.99 it is still well worth buying.<br />
<br />
I love the products I got and I'm really tempted to go back for more once the sale is over and they re-stock all the out of stock products. If you love MUA then Vivo are well worth a try and can be bought in Tesco or online at <a href="http://www.vivocosmetics.co.uk/">http://www.vivocosmetics.co.uk/</a> where everything is still half price!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been loving Glossybox for about six months now and when they revealed Miss Glossybox, I though a high street box would be perfect for me, as it would have products that I could afford myself and wasn't as expensive as the normal box. I wasn't too keen on the first box but decided to give it a second chance and ordered the July/August box. I have to say I am still not impressed. This box would perhaps be good for a 16-18 year old which I suppose is who they are designed for but a high street box aimed at everyone would be a much better idea!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love the Miss Patisserie bath bomb, as soon as I opened the bag I could smell it and it is gorgeous, this was perhaps the only product I really liked in this months box. The sample of Beyonce Heat perfume smells nice, but I'm not too keen and was disappointed to find such a small sample. The Glossybox false lashes were also a bit of a disappointment, I would have preferred something more natural and from a brand you can actually buy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I already have a can of the V05 Backcomb spray, and have tried it but prefer the texture spray as it seems to do the same thing but better, and to be honest the best volumising product I have found is the volume powder. The Kiss nail wraps would have been lovely if the design wasn't so tacky, I can't ever see myself wearing these.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All in all a bit of a rubbish offering from the Miss Glossybox this month, I won't be ordering one of these again!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried Miss Glossybox? I'm really disappointed with it and after hearing rumours of a high street beauty box from MUA, I will be saving my money for that one!</div>

I love Seventeen products and their Falsifeye mascara is one of my favourites so I was expecting great things.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh09C7awuLCgGWmxWHyVRHQAmTakDMcbhEo4Mgx3o-k74oK9uDZXpRelQvrDkDozXZpMiieXC2aW9KwiSSz8Ornv2fg3j9tXddO-thA_VQEEbyshyphenhyphenrDRLvDZ1QxMZy2EMzgcWNziG-wqGoU/s1600/Seventeen+Backlash+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh09C7awuLCgGWmxWHyVRHQAmTakDMcbhEo4Mgx3o-k74oK9uDZXpRelQvrDkDozXZpMiieXC2aW9KwiSSz8Ornv2fg3j9tXddO-thA_VQEEbyshyphenhyphenrDRLvDZ1QxMZy2EMzgcWNziG-wqGoU/s640/Seventeen+Backlash+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The brush on the mascara is one of those really fat soft bristled brushes, not my favourite sort but it does get right in between your lashes to give really amazing definition. Back Lash claims to give over 100% greater lash impact with definition, volume, length and lift. I didn't find it gave as much volume as the Falsifeye, but it really does lengthen and define the lashes with out any clumps. Maybe not a night out mascara for me as I like more volume, but a perfect day to day one for amazing long defined lashes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_eZGZq5rFnEVe0nND7YoUhWChNI44yHS6eLNIvRMpPhZm6R3Np_t9LIq4Ln5ct47ra6_tL8705WTBs-FWLLFw8VRNLC2yjA8PUvXJqF5874x74QQC_daQiBv5u-irXAV37W2xfhVZz56E/s1600/Seventeen+Backlash.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_eZGZq5rFnEVe0nND7YoUhWChNI44yHS6eLNIvRMpPhZm6R3Np_t9LIq4Ln5ct47ra6_tL8705WTBs-FWLLFw8VRNLC2yjA8PUvXJqF5874x74QQC_daQiBv5u-irXAV37W2xfhVZz56E/s400/Seventeen+Backlash.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The big surprise for me though was the free gel eye liner. Now I am not a massive fan of gel eye liners, I love my Collection liquid liner and don't really use anything else. I gave the Back Lash eye liner a go though and I love it! I have tried gel ones before and found them hard to work with and they didn't last as well as liquid. This one though is more like a mousse than a gel which makes it much easier to use. I found it went on much smoother and with a neater line than other gel liners. I did find it hard to get a thin line but that should come with practise. I also love how with a smaller amount you can get a smudged look and less of a heavy black line. For a freebie, this is lovely and I can see myself getting plenty of use out of it as it seems more versatile than my Collection Liquid liner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Seventeen Back Lash mascara is £5.49 at the moment in Boots with the Back Lash liner free. Have you tried it yet?</div>

I couldn't find it anywhere, every Boots I was in seemed to have sold out. I finally managed to get my hands on it a few weeks ago though and have been loving it ever since.<br />
<div>
I thought these would be similar to the L'Oreal Stain Splash but rather than being glossy you get more of a full on colour stain. The five shades in the range are lovely but most are a little bright for my taste so Lasting Pink is perfect for me, bold but not too scary. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Ig3FsSeFsSE9MsjXKGjea8RhH4wB5X0totAiP0GYY7yoRyLlP7ek_7kr_jnUT0OgbKgrx1ub0eVlaZskVVEJH78RtGVtIZYlIWXw0y8FLlXudVdkRKGnmuu6hhkVkwXjmggupY44O6qr/s1600/Maybelline+Tint+Gloss.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="464" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_Ig3FsSeFsSE9MsjXKGjea8RhH4wB5X0totAiP0GYY7yoRyLlP7ek_7kr_jnUT0OgbKgrx1ub0eVlaZskVVEJH78RtGVtIZYlIWXw0y8FLlXudVdkRKGnmuu6hhkVkwXjmggupY44O6qr/s640/Maybelline+Tint+Gloss.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
I love the colour, not too red but not too pink. For me, its just bright enough to wear through the day but looks lovely with a smoky eye for a night out too. It last really well too although I wouldn't say it lasted the full 10 hours, 3-4 is probably more realistic depending on how much you eat/drink, but I don't think that's too bad and for the price I don't mind re-applying. It doesn't dry your lips either as I have found some other lip stains do. It smells gorgeous too, really fruity and is perhaps my favourite smelling lip product at the moment!</div>
<div>
I hope they bring out some more colours in the range, I'd love some more of these. For £5.99 I'm really impressed and can see this getting plenty of use.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Have you tried the Maybelline Tint Glosses? Do you prefer these or the L'Oreal, I'm not too sure!<br />

</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This was something I decided to try a few days ago when the weather was nice and sunny. I hadn't got round to posting this though and now the weather is rubbish so it doesn't really fit, but what can you do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBfZxScOBU8Q1pwuIogS7CY490dtcLGH4QF59Mip1gsGg9hjZqeqpHQG1U81IUPV9-enEFTKclftu-4_YdNxoLHjQzwuSYi2DF28WbnXNsnmQCTFdkh6jLFhlSUZmGT_lbMhxk2x0Cz_pP/s1600/Invogue+Feathers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBfZxScOBU8Q1pwuIogS7CY490dtcLGH4QF59Mip1gsGg9hjZqeqpHQG1U81IUPV9-enEFTKclftu-4_YdNxoLHjQzwuSYi2DF28WbnXNsnmQCTFdkh6jLFhlSUZmGT_lbMhxk2x0Cz_pP/s400/Invogue+Feathers.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love the Invogue feather polishes and this one, Parakeet is my favourite. I love how it looks over the pinky coral and reminds me of hundreds and thousands on an ice cream (hence why I needed the sunny weather!). I love these cute summery nails and will be trying the feather polishes over some different colours, perhaps a turquoise would look nice!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried the Invogue polishes? They are a bargain at £3.49 from Superdrug with free delivery at the moment!</div>

I love finding new nail polishes, particularly bargain ones and I can't help wondering down the make-up isle whenever I go to ASDA. I spotted these new Gel Pro Nail Polishes a while back and although I have never really taken much notice of the George make-up range, I was surprised at how good the selection of nail polishes was and had to give them a try.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The shade range in the Gel Pro range isn't fantastic but they do have lots of lovely polishes including glitter ones and caviar beads for bargain prices. The Gel Pro polishes were on offer for £2, usually £3, so who could argue with that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0btZwIZBAWssXIg4OM2JLMS7bH0VGei5jtN1qV-zKQ9xbzPdPlVmH5hTwZaO_qpJ1LYs4ehR_wh3vbRRpbk_Y8OSUMUvHbHzYHPjgySGb7jWDLZoEmcUN__G6QEqR64vTQ0oazcPg6Vnt/s1600/George+Gel+Polish.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="340" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0btZwIZBAWssXIg4OM2JLMS7bH0VGei5jtN1qV-zKQ9xbzPdPlVmH5hTwZaO_qpJ1LYs4ehR_wh3vbRRpbk_Y8OSUMUvHbHzYHPjgySGb7jWDLZoEmcUN__G6QEqR64vTQ0oazcPg6Vnt/s640/George+Gel+Polish.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

I love the gel style polishes that are out and rely on Barry M Gellys for my day-to-day nails. I hoped to find an amazing bargain here but I have to say I wasn't too impressed. The colours are lovely and I really like Rose for a summery colour but the formula wasn't great. They chipped after a few hours as you can see on my first finger, and although you can't tell on the picture they came out a little streaky.<br />
They are a bargain but I say splash out the extra couple of quid for Barry M, the quality is so much better.<br />
<br />Have you tried any of the George make-up range? I'm not convinced.<br />

</script>My lazy nail polish loving self can't get enough of simple ways to make my nails look more interesting. My latest obsession has been the feathered polishes. I love the Invouge feather range and the Barry M Confettis have to be a close second favourite. After spotting the Bourjois Laser Toppings though, I realised what they had been missing- a bit of sparkle! The Laser Toppings are gorgeous coloured metallic strips in a clear base and come in three colours, Sun Scales, Blue Neon (the two I chose) and Aqua Purple priced at £5.99.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgobLRZ6V1HGkrwk2DYdrrR7v44fYOb34CUtOy6DbsckU3MHTH9CGeQBwDVhFklt5nvDAtvDhr7bL3hu4M1KXGziccfwOHh0Zm5UzLD3sz5RnHnr843SHixKQ_a1PGmK3OcyLvfK8kSvX6b/s1600/Bourjois+Lazer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgobLRZ6V1HGkrwk2DYdrrR7v44fYOb34CUtOy6DbsckU3MHTH9CGeQBwDVhFklt5nvDAtvDhr7bL3hu4M1KXGziccfwOHh0Zm5UzLD3sz5RnHnr843SHixKQ_a1PGmK3OcyLvfK8kSvX6b/s640/Bourjois+Lazer.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I chose Barry M Papaya Gelly as the base colour as it really makes the gold stand out. Sun Scales is made up of gold and metallic pink strips and is the perfect colour for summer. The Bourjois flat brushes are perfect for this kind of effect as you only need one sweep to cover the nail so you get a nice even coverage of strips.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQAlNc8YxlhI2ga2DgV6WAc3LZB43auR_NMwqt-CO-mmzqTojeYguxt_ctT39hfwSIcDagfYTVGAA-Agao9WDxM4q7Z9f1H-4Fg2CTENmxKpuDwtXoyJg7hDwD68koxT4iFo-NgSdr3EyV/s1600/Sun+Scales.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="372" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQAlNc8YxlhI2ga2DgV6WAc3LZB43auR_NMwqt-CO-mmzqTojeYguxt_ctT39hfwSIcDagfYTVGAA-Agao9WDxM4q7Z9f1H-4Fg2CTENmxKpuDwtXoyJg7hDwD68koxT4iFo-NgSdr3EyV/s400/Sun+Scales.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Despite the mess I have made of my thumb, I love how this looks. I couldn't quite capture how the strips glitter in the light but it looks so pretty. This is a perfect alternative to a full on glitter polish but just gives that bit of extra sparkle to a plain polish. I found it lasted really well without chipping, a good three days before I got bored and took it off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I haven't really taken much notice of Bourjois polishes before, but if the recent nail effect releases are anything to go by then I can't wait to see what they have planned for the future. I love the Laser Toppings so I hope they will carry on bringing out more unique polishes to keep up with the trends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried the new Bourjois Manicure Toppings? I can't wait to try Blue Neon now!</div>

I know a lot of people swear by BB Creams for that make-up free look but I never really got into the whole BB trend as I use light foundations anyway and the ones I had tried didn't seem much different. I had tried the No7 BB Cream a few times at work though and loved the colour and finish it gave so when the vouchers came around again this time I decided to give it a go.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWTBc8-1J3H0CsenoZ6WRS6c6d3BYekaK9ZZnyptQYhQM2r7O0fA3Jyz23vxiYhReQUB6wfTu2WaTiCL07TMG6EtpyzIFmb4a7Np-F3U9_4lja8L154IMTL2pn7wwRDIBbpPVtf5IqeT62/s1600/No7+BB+Cream.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWTBc8-1J3H0CsenoZ6WRS6c6d3BYekaK9ZZnyptQYhQM2r7O0fA3Jyz23vxiYhReQUB6wfTu2WaTiCL07TMG6EtpyzIFmb4a7Np-F3U9_4lja8L154IMTL2pn7wwRDIBbpPVtf5IqeT62/s400/No7+BB+Cream.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
The No7 BB Cream comes in three versions, normal/oily, normal/dry and dry/very dry and I chose the normal/dry in medium. The colour blends really well and although it suits me perfectly now with a bit of a tan it still blended in to look natural before the sun came out. I love it for those days where you don't need a full face of make-up, and recently since getting a bit of a tan, I have been using it every day. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglRFvBa7UhnIx3d40lG55C8VqjLNzbt4PgSmN3kkqiQk4oHuLPlld6CmCLIFTSIDvS5eIfp3F8gtPwTJKXc2nrMGZzX0F7zHGBmSr8QJQHDqjgTHtxKtg1Kh0jt3XIZpaUKhfdU3h9lilP/s1600/No7+BB.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="340" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglRFvBa7UhnIx3d40lG55C8VqjLNzbt4PgSmN3kkqiQk4oHuLPlld6CmCLIFTSIDvS5eIfp3F8gtPwTJKXc2nrMGZzX0F7zHGBmSr8QJQHDqjgTHtxKtg1Kh0jt3XIZpaUKhfdU3h9lilP/s640/No7+BB.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The finish you get from the BB Cream is lovely and looks natural whilst still giving that bit of coverage and evening out your skin. I didn't expect it to last as well as it does with it being so light coverage but even after a day at work it still stays in place. I haven't tried the other formulas but the normal/dry leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. The fact that it includes SPF 15 is another bonus for these warm weeks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
No7 really have converted me and I now love this BB Cream, so much so that all my other foundations have been put away until the weather changes. With the BB Cream I have all I need for my Summer look. At £12.95 they aren't the cheapest around but they do class as a skincare product within the No7 range so when the vouchers are out, you can get £5 off. With my discount I picked it up for about a fiver, but I'd be happy to pay more as it is worth every penny. You only need to use a tiny bit so it won't run out after a couple of weeks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried any No7 foundations or have you been reaching for the BB Creams in the warm weather too?</div>

Just a quick post today about one of my favourite top coats, and the new, really disappointing version of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBkqiBmPPZTeDzaPkA3tkmPTPwGH2vbmv9sjb_Kqe2-s_wzH_6qxPDFVsB4o0iiAijGejsUC5VH2sEGewmeUSTLf9eC0sDuTmT2MbE8OtIwj0VUIE7MNV9ulTzF6KDVlNtt8B58AUBlBJu/s1600/No7+Top+Coats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBkqiBmPPZTeDzaPkA3tkmPTPwGH2vbmv9sjb_Kqe2-s_wzH_6qxPDFVsB4o0iiAijGejsUC5VH2sEGewmeUSTLf9eC0sDuTmT2MbE8OtIwj0VUIE7MNV9ulTzF6KDVlNtt8B58AUBlBJu/s400/No7+Top+Coats.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Two very similar top coats, both No7, the one on the left the new Gel-Look Shine, the right Stay Perfect. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stay Perfect Top Coat is my favourite, my tried and tested, best I've ever had top coat. I use it all the time and always stock up when Boots are giving out No7 vouchers. It dries quicker than anything I've ever seen, makes my polish last longer without chipping and gives a lovely shine. So when I saw the new Gel-Look Shine Top Coat I had to give it a try, expecting something amazing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Gel-Look Shine Top Coat is awful. Its watery, not as shiny as the Stay Perfect and chips within a few hours. I have tried it over about five different polishes now and none have lasted more than a day without chips. I usually get around 2-3 days wear with the normal top coat so I was really surprised how quickly this chipped. The Stay Perfect gives what I would call a Gel-Look Shine anyway, so I can't understand how a top coat designed for Gel-Look Shine can be less shiny, but it is!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have no idea what went wrong with this one but the only redeeming factor was that it cost me about £2 with discount and a voucher so I haven't lost much.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I can't recommend the Stay Perfect Top Coat enough, but I would suggest avoiding wasting money one the new Gel-Look one, although the Gel-Look Shine colour polishes are lovely.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried the new No7 top coat? If you haven't go buy Stay Perfect instead! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have been getting the boxes since early this year and that was the first box which made me think I had wasted my money. I decided to give Glossybox another chance though, as I was really enjoying the surprise of opening the box each month and seeing what I'd been sent. I also liked the look of the theme of the July box, Seaside Splash, so was interested to see what would be included.<script type="text/javascript">

<div>
I have to say this months box is a huge improvement on the last, both in value for money and the quality and size of the samples included. The total value of my box this month was about £33.20. Not bad for a tenner! Anyway, onto the pictures.</div>
<div>

</div>
<div>
The box this month is a gorgeous blue seaside themed design and although it won't match any of the others I have, I really like the design.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The first product that caught my eye was the Ciate Paint Pot in Speed Dial (full size £9). I don't own many Ciate polishes as I can't bring myself to pay £9 for a single polish when I probably won't use it more than a couple of times. The few I do own though, are amazing colours, cover in a couple of coats and last really well. I love the orange shade I got and although it is a little bright for me I can see it getting some use during summer. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg3vcVNKTu1Mgw9evlKPOkjAL2TiICrO6_JO7xvpfjMu-f0NG5wpDSQtFkz0kV6V4zU8jfTEBSZAzKipTDnnEJ7xjuO8YW3QwoLVXmxnxFIqV0LrP3vrKSXRvehnseka9hF6e_D2ryhPms/s1600/Ciate+Paint+Pot.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg3vcVNKTu1Mgw9evlKPOkjAL2TiICrO6_JO7xvpfjMu-f0NG5wpDSQtFkz0kV6V4zU8jfTEBSZAzKipTDnnEJ7xjuO8YW3QwoLVXmxnxFIqV0LrP3vrKSXRvehnseka9hF6e_D2ryhPms/s320/Ciate+Paint+Pot.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The second product I was drawn to was the Sleek Pout Paints in Peek-A-Bloo and Pin Up (full sizes £4.99 each). My first though was what am I going to use the blue for, but the booklet does state they are meant for mixing. I do wish I had got the coral shade but you can't be too picky. I tried to mix the two and just got a mucky looking mess but hopefully they will mix better with other colours.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcIkXZPafGhbvBEyFjER8VuRkFxdFcgQZHAtTwAH0Gffrs_TYODjo5U6OXtO2xI9Iqy-F8W7jr9M9uWbN7-EPYVzqBImugVMH3QzDwwGjJwyGHxHsaotEI0JtWRhy-7hAl9Sk_3JMyiJMV/s1600/Sleek+Pout+Paint.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcIkXZPafGhbvBEyFjER8VuRkFxdFcgQZHAtTwAH0Gffrs_TYODjo5U6OXtO2xI9Iqy-F8W7jr9M9uWbN7-EPYVzqBImugVMH3QzDwwGjJwyGHxHsaotEI0JtWRhy-7hAl9Sk_3JMyiJMV/s400/Sleek+Pout+Paint.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I also received Anatomicals Facial Spritz (full size £6.00). This is perfect to use at the moment as it is ridiculously warm and the weather looks set to stay! I do use fixing spray for my make-up when its warm or I want it to last so I am used to spraying my face but this feels a little thick. It doesn't spritz, it kind of just squirts at you and needs rubbing in to cover your face. It is refreshing but smells a little too strong of lavender for me. I will use it up but don't think it is something I'd repurchase.</div>

<div>
I was also pleased to receive Coola Organic Suncare for face (full size 50ml £25.99, 7ml included). I do think this is a little pricey but if you are going to splash out then face care is probably a good place to start. I have be ensuring I've used products with SPF on my face whilst the weather has been so warm (my trusty No7 BB cream is perfect) but I have been thinking of investing in a proper sunscreen for my face if the warm weather is to continue so this came at the perfect time. </div>

<div>
The final product in my box was the Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist (full size 125ml £23.00, 25ml included). My hair is pretty rubbish for styling and is generally pretty straight, although I did used to like leaving it to dry naturally when it was longer and used to use things like salt spray to get it to curl. I am trying to grow my hair again and it is getting to the point where it is almost long enough to curl so this is something I will definitely use just to give that extra bit of texture and curl to my boring hair.</div>

<div>
I am pretty impressed with what I received this month and although the Pout Paint colours are a little strange I will most likely use everything in the box. This months box has been back on the standard that I had grown to expect from my Glossybox and I'm hoping hat this means it wasn't a mistake for me to renew my subscription. I hope next months box is just as good!</div>

Did you get this months box? Did you like the products or were you disappointed?</div>

You can see that haul <a href="http://glitterandglossuk.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/boots-discount-haul.html">here</a> if you like. My favourite bargain of the lot though, had to be the new Gel-Look Shine Nail Polishes. I have to say though that the colours, for a summer range aren't the best but I wanted to try them out.<div>
I love the normal No7 nail polishes and always pick up a few when I have vouchers. Their top coat is my absolute favourite and is the best I have had for drying quickly and leaving an expensive looking finish. The normal colour polishes, although the colour range isn't the most exciting and tends to be plain colour polishes, has some lovely polishes with a brush which coats the nail in one sweep and dries faster than most other polishes I own. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRDTVPORVXmMKxrsQcu-UxpPBcDkX3rFgkzjGFluD_sPlR1hDRnj2VSe0e-wmgaAqAMic3C5mZB4MoilV2yqZvdX45w5oT3lGI40yEP9eHbL2iGFbLp9ZqigJsz5FgKUic2KYJrVFOkSuA/s1600/No7+Gel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRDTVPORVXmMKxrsQcu-UxpPBcDkX3rFgkzjGFluD_sPlR1hDRnj2VSe0e-wmgaAqAMic3C5mZB4MoilV2yqZvdX45w5oT3lGI40yEP9eHbL2iGFbLp9ZqigJsz5FgKUic2KYJrVFOkSuA/s640/No7+Gel.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
After a bit of deliberating I decided to pick up Mint Treat and Summer Holiday. They were the only brights in the range, the only other I fancied was a burgundy, so I hope they expand this range. You can see from the picture on the right, the brush is almost flat which is fantastic for quick application.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Mint Treat is such a gorgeous turquoise shade, while Summer Holiday is a perfect "barbie" pink. Excuse the poor photo of Summer Holiday, but Mint Treat shows how amazing the shine is on these lovelies. I have yet to see how long they last as I changed Summer Holiday quickly but Mint Treat is still going strong with no chips two days in. I have been going for purple or coral shades recently, so this is a little different for me but I really love Mint Treat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really hope No7 bring out more shades in this range as I can see them being popular. I haven't tried the Gel Look Top Coat which goes with the range but if the normal top coat is anything to go by then it will be a good one! If you have't tried No7 polishes yet then I would recommend giving them a try while the £3 vouchers are still around, they make them a bargain at £3 for a normal polish or £3.50 for one from the Gel-Shine range. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you tried the No7 polishes yet? If the shade range grows then I reckon they could be a Barry M Gelly rival (with a slightly larger price tag) although I wouldn't usually buy unless I had a voucher...</div>

I had also been saving up my No7 vouchers so I could stock up when I could get my double discount on it. This meant a nice little haul when I was finally back in on Sunday and as it is my first haul in a while, I thought I'd share it! I may have gone a littler over the top but all make-up was buy one get one half price which was too tempting to resist!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCi8w9g0BXDXJF5orO8fHX00Sp7kc-cp_XWF5DnqDJLu_zU6zSKPB7_Vh7JFvKR27s1DOZU6Je7cPkweG1GjYd1nG7iLh1-GRDCiZWW88vs0-ffAgWZYA4yNFwpH88wthfGxs34VH6_jaZ/s1600/Boots+Haul+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="512" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCi8w9g0BXDXJF5orO8fHX00Sp7kc-cp_XWF5DnqDJLu_zU6zSKPB7_Vh7JFvKR27s1DOZU6Je7cPkweG1GjYd1nG7iLh1-GRDCiZWW88vs0-ffAgWZYA4yNFwpH88wthfGxs34VH6_jaZ/s640/Boots+Haul+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The first bits I picked up were the No7 BB Cream (£12.95) and Essentially Natural Foundation (£9.95). I have been wearing the BB Cream loads recently and I love it. It gives me the perfect light coverage I want for work and feels lovely on my skin. The Essentially Natural is my daily foundation and I when I want it to last longer or need a extra bit of coverage. I do only use light foundations as my skin isn't particularly bad and I don't like anything heavy and these two have been ticking all the boxes for me recently. If you haven't yet, go get colour matched for No7, their foundations are my favourite.<br />
I also picked up another of the BB Lips in Belle Pink (£8.50) as I have been loving those after picking up a couple of other shades which I reviewed <a href="http://glitterandglossuk.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/no7-bb-lips.html">here</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP94JnJ_tma64n1icTf5lIqlhG1ymgqKCWPd0aph3TWsN3O1ORqVC8egcS7FwaafeBDdymGiYQn239QXiYgiv4S0hHXjk38L8NMpPkBpDXIEHUP1zoIYnMYYRb4SZhepCNA8Web-LuAI2r/s1600/Boots+Haul+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="512" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP94JnJ_tma64n1icTf5lIqlhG1ymgqKCWPd0aph3TWsN3O1ORqVC8egcS7FwaafeBDdymGiYQn239QXiYgiv4S0hHXjk38L8NMpPkBpDXIEHUP1zoIYnMYYRb4SZhepCNA8Web-LuAI2r/s640/Boots+Haul+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Next stop, nail polish (obviously). I had seen the new No7 Gel Look polishes (£6.50) a few weeks back and fancied giving them a go, although I wasn't too impressed with the shade range. I did like the look of these bright ones though so picked up Summer Holiday (bright pink) and Mint Treat (turquoise). I have Summer Holiday on at the moment and it is gorgeous, so it will have its own post soon but first impressions- it is mega shiny and beats Barry M's Gellys in terms of looking like gel polish! I always stock up on top coat when I get vouchers so got another one this time (white top, £6.00) and also picked up the new Gel Look top coat (£6.50) to try.<br />
These were all bought with the £3 off No7 vouchers and on buy one get one half price, so were a great bargain.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
l-r: Revlon Lip Butters in Sorbet, Macaroon,</div>
<div>
Maybelline Super Stay Tint Gloss in Lasting Pink.</div>
<div>
I also needed a new primer as mine is running out. I still love the Seventeen Photo Flawless (£4.99) so picked up the same again. I can't bring myself to try another as this is just so good for the price.</div>
<div>
I have been using Revlon Lip Butters (£7.99) almost constantly the last few months so decided to treat myself to another couple of shades. Sorbet is a bright pink which can be built up or left subtle like the swatch and Macaroon is a nude browny pink with a hint of glitter. I can see these two making their way into my daily routine along with my other Lip Butters.</div>
<div>
Maybelline Super Stay 10 Hour Tint Gloss (£6.99) in Lasting Pink is something I have been trying to get my hands on for a while now but haven't been able to find. I wanted to try it after loving the L'Oreal Stain Splash and this colour is lovely without being too bright for me. They smell amazing too, really fruity. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I may have spent the days wages before I even get paid but I am really happy with my little haul. I have lots of lovely new bits to try and I'm sure they will pop up in reviews soon. The No7 Gel polish will be first as I am already loving it!<br />
<br />
I have just realised this is also my 100th post so a little bloggy milestone there for me! </div>

I have been seriously lusting after a new car recently. My current car is an S reg Clio and has just hit 100,000 miles which means that although it was a total steal two years ago at £800 and has suited me perfectly for something cheap to run to work in, I now want something a bit better. I don't want it to get to the point where it costs me too much to keep it running and I know as it is getting fairly old now, that point cannot be too far off. <script type="text/javascript">
var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-38215902-1']);
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
(function() {
var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();
</script><br />
<div>
I used to drive my Mum's Peugeot 107 around and really liked it, and although I prefer my Clio, since I've seen the new purple 107's I have been really really reeeeeeally wanting one. Seriously, who would not want this in their life???</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://assets.carwow.co.uk/blog/Peugeot%20107%20Facelift%20purple(4).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://assets.carwow.co.uk/blog/Peugeot%20107%20Facelift%20purple(4).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
This car is just perfect for me. I adore the colour and they are pretty small and cute. Until these came out I'd gone with the "a cars a car" line and wasn't too bothered that mine is so old, but this is a car I could be proud of. I know I wouldn't regret spending my money on one but I don't have the cash and want to move out so need my savings for that. The other option is finance but I don't like the idea of paying back more than I owe. </div>
<div>
I know I should wait and get a second hand car and not waste my money on a brand new one but it is just so perfect. I can't describe how much I love this car. I wish there were more purple cars around as they are pretty rare but my purple obsession has got that bad now that I want a purple car too, so I don't just want to settle for something dull. </div>
<div>
I am pretty sensible with my money, I don't often splash out on myself, and have managed to save a fair bit so I do want to treat myself to a new car, but I just can't stop looking at this one. I won't get it, but it will be in the back of my mind when I'm sitting in my black/red/blue dull coloured car that it could have been this pretty. No car has ever caught my attention like this one has.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway, I want opinions, is buying a car for the colour silly (probably), or would you splash out for a car in your favourite colour too?<br />

I don't have the steady hand or patience needed for intricate designs so I tend to stick to pretty simple things which look like they took more effort than they did. With that in mind, I decided to give my striping tape another go. I usually can't be bothered with anything that takes that much time, and I struggled to get the hang of when in the drying process to remove the tape. Too soon and the polish bleeds underneath, too late and it becomes stringy and ruins the neat line. <div>
I love the look of gold under another colour so decided to use my Barry M limited edition gold as it is the perfect shimmery shade and went really well with my much loved Papaya Gelly.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I went for a cris-crossed design on my thumb but got a little bored after waiting for this to dry so went for a simpler cross on my ring finger, although I think it does look good like this. I love striping tape as I could never get a line as perfect free hand but it is a bit of a pain having to wait for the first colour to properly set so the tape doesn't pull the polish off with it.<br />

These colours do go really well together, I love the gold against coral so I'll be mixing these two more often. I will give more striped designs a go too as although it is time consuming, it isn't too difficult and looks really effective. </div>

Have you tried striping tape? I'll be keeping an eye out for some more designs to try. </div>

I do own a couple and haven't been too impressed with the quality either. If they were amazing then I could maybe have justified the price but I can't say that they were. I decided to give them another go though, when I saw them on the Buyapower website. I like the idea of putting four shades from each collection into a mini cube so you can try out small versions of the new shades, and if you are like myself and have a small nail polish obsession, then a small bottle is better as I never use a full one.<script type="text/javascript">

The Spring 2013 collection mini cube contains four lovely pastel shades, Avenue Maintain, a bright sky blue, Madison Ave-Hue, a pink with silver shimmer, Bond With Whomever, a lilac and Go Ginza, a very pale lilac with a pink tone. I love pastel shades so the Spring collections tend to be my favourites and this one has some lovely shades. I really like that they have included a shimmery shade as well as normal colours, just to mix it up a little.<br />

<div>
I wanted to try as many colours as I could so I went for a bit of a mimed up design. I used Bond With Whomever with Avenue Maintain for the accent nails and Go Ginza for the dots. These colours go together really well and I love the shades. I wasn't too keen on Go Ginza to start with but it does look lovely against the blue. </div>
<div>
I think I may have been converted to Essie a little more with this cube and I would definitely consider buying more of the mini cubes rather than the full size polishes as you get more for your money. I ended up paying £8.95 for the cube which is a bargain when you think a full size single polish is £7.99. I did find that these lasted really well too and didn't start to chip for 3-4 days. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Have you tried the mini cubes from Essie? I think more brands should go for mini polishes, I do feel like I waste a lot by only using most polishes a couple of times.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
